Simona Halep was a player to watch since winning the juniors in Paris in 2008.
Besides being clearly talented, the Romanian was noticed for a particular featured: she had a rather large breast on a tiny body (1.68m).
This made things quite complicated as Simona was struggling to be enough nimble for competing in pro tennis. So she decided to go for a rather spectacular breast reduction from 34DD to a 34C
The results came soon after. The Romanian trained hard to improve her fitness and that was such easier with her new line.

Obviously everybody keeps on asking her about that decision and now she is a bit tired of giving explanations. “I don’t want to speak about this one. It was a long time ago and it’s something very personal. So, I’m sorry but I won’t talk about it anymore. If you want to ask me about tennis I can speak with pleasure, but that problem I had, that is my personal thing”.
…and her hunger for improving
Simona wants to improve every aspect of her life and she is making an effort also to improve her English “I want to improve more. I speak better than last year, but I still have to learn.”
“Now I speak more with my coach in English, and it’s good. Now I started to read a book in English – Harry Potter.”
Time to focus on becoming the world no.1 instead?
