Carlos Alcaraz

On Sunday in Paris, Carlos Alcaraz won an extremely solid match against an inspired Juan Ignacio Londero 6-4 6-2 6-0. Carlito will face fellow Spaniard Albert Ramos-Vinolas in the next round.

After his first round, Carlito sounded extremely optimistic. He said that he is elated with what he has achieved, even if he is very well aware that he needs to work much more.

Carlito commented:

“I would say the best thing about being Carlos right now is that I’m reaching my dream. I’m really happy with playing tennis; playing this kind of tournament, this kind of stadium, is not for everyone, so I would say that is the best thing.”

Alcaraz insisted that improving is very important for him to add: “I have to improve, what I have to do on the matches, what I have to do every day to be ready in the tournament.”
