Naomi Osaka wins her 9th consecutive match after another outstanding performance against the world no. 25 Barbora Strycova.

The match

The Japanese was always in full control of the entire match. In the first set, she grabbed a fast 4-1 lead. However, the Czech managed to strike back and conquer a break (4-3). Nevertheless, Naomi used her superior power to get back in the groove and win the opener 6-3. The only difference between the 2 competitors n the second set was just a break that Osaka conquered in the 6th game. Eventually, the seed no.3 won the match 6-3 6-4.

Osaka will face either Vika Azarenka or Camila Giorgi in the semifinal.
