It’s Sharapova no.3 in Stuttgart!
The Russian wins the beauty contest against Ana Ivanovic in 3 sets playing amazing tennis. The beginning of the final wasn’t as easy for Sharapova that was 0-5 down in no time. Then Maria started to find her tennis to lose the opener 6-3.
But things got a bit worse for Maria that was also 1-3 down in the second set. Then she broke Ana in a very tense game to then win 11 games out of 13. The final score was 3-6 6-4 6-1. Match Stats

Maria commented “For the first half of the match I thought it might not be my day today, but somehow I turned it around. I had quite a slow beginning to the year, but me and my team have been working hard to get in the position to win titles again, and I’m so happy to be able to do it in Stuttgart”
This is Sharapova’s 30 title, the 1st of the year and the 3rd consecutive in Stuttgart. No bad!
