Emma Raducanu hit the headlines loud and strong when she won an unexpected US Open title. Emma started her campaign in New York from of the qualifications and she conquered the American major without losing a single set.
During an interesting interview with Harper Bazaar UK, Emma admitted that the most important and surreal moment of her young career was when she landed the ace that granted her the US Open title.Â
“The career moment that changed my life was winning the US Open on that match point. It was definitely the best moment of my career. The most surreal moment was when I landed that ace and in that second I had no idea what had happened, what I was doing or where I was from.”

Currently the world no.13, the Brit played her last match on the 22nd of February when she had to retire when playing against world no.410 Daria Gavrilova in the 1st round and the scoreline was 5-7 7-6(4) 4-3 .
This year the Brit achieved a compiled 1-3 match record.
