Denis Shapovalov, Stefanos Tsitsipas, Daniil Medvedev, and Nick Kyrgios are among the most representative players of the upcoming generation and sadly also the leaders at the Australian Open in terms of fines received.
Shapovalov ($15,000) is the “leader” of this log after he destroyed his tennis racket and he said to the umpire that “you are all corrupted.”
Tsitsipas ($13,000) received 3 fines for coaching.
Medvedev ($12,000) is no.3 after he insulted the chair umpire during his match against Tsitsipas.
Kyrgios was slammed with a total of $10,000 in fines after breaking his racked and swearing on court.
Since they are still playing, Medvedev and Kyrgios have still the “chance” to “improve their record.”
New:#AusOpen competition in the men’s fines list, stacked with multiple-offenders, is as competitive as on court!
