Stefanos Tsitsipas has been through a rather weird period last year when he was widely blasted for abusing toilet breaks. The Greek sensation used to regroup, especially after playing tough sets by going to the restroom. That irked some opponents such as Sascha Zverev and Andy Murray, who even accused him of cheating.
Stefanos has always defended his action saying that he didn’t break any rule. Indeed, rules were very vague and eventually the ATP had to come up with some regulations.
Girlfriend and bathroom
While the comments, in the beginning, hurt Stefanos, the world number 4 changed his attitude about the argument, even having fun about it.
Stefanos even tweeted: “Ask my girlfriend regarding bathroom breaks… it’s been pissing her off since day one.”
