Ouuuuch that was painful.
Bernard Tomic tried to anticipate his return to professional tennis after his operation to the hip (see article), but apparently this defeat was much more painful than the operation.
It took just 28 minutes and 20 seconds for Nieminen to dismiss Tomic that has scored only 3 points in the first set (ouch). Match Stats.
The previous record belonged Rusedski that gave a nasty 6-0 6-0 to Arriens in 29 minutes.
Talking about Bernard… well that’s not a greatest result for a guy that is considered the brightest prospect for the Australian tennis.
If that Bernard waned to make history…. well he did it!
