Nick Kyrgios and Novak Djokovic are not best friends and the Australian player was used to slam him publicly quite often.
However, Nick seems to have learned to take it easy when commenting on his colleagues and people in general. Kyrgios posted a statement about his opinion of the current situation of Novak Djokovic. The world no.1 is currently in detention in Australia after his visa was revoked.
While Nick thinks that it’s important to be vaccinated, he is also not happy with the treatment received by Djokovic in his country. Kyrgios commented:
“Look I definitely believe in taking action, I got vaccinated because of others and for my mums health, but how we are handling Novak’s situation is bad, really bad. Like these memes, headlines, this is one of our great champions but at the end of the day, he is human. Do better.”
