Emma Raducanu has started training in Melbourne, where she will play the upcoming WTA250 event with Naomi Osaka and Jessica Pegula being the main contenders for the title.
Emma has just arrived in Australia with her new coach Torben Beltz. It is going to be very interesting to see how she will perform next week with all the attention that she has attracted after winning the recent US Open title.

Ranked no.19 (career-high), the Brit played her last match on the 9th of November when she was defeated by world no.101 Xin Yu Wang 6-1 6-7(0) 7-5 in the 2nd round in Linz (draw).
Currently, during this season Emma owns a compiled 25-9 match record. Emma conquered 1 title at the U.S. Open. Raducanu was the finalist in Chicago.
Naomi Osaka in 2021
Ranked no.13, Osaka played her last match on the 3rd of September when she lost to world no.24 Leylah Annie Fernandez 5-7 7-6(2) 6-4 in the 3rd round in U.S. Open (draw).
Until now, during this year Naomi achieved a compiled 18-6 match record. The Japanese conquered 1 title at the Australian Open.
Emma Raducanu and Naomi Osaka have never squared off.
Jessica Pegula in 2021
Now ranked no.18 (career-high), Pegula played her last match on the 13th of October when she capitulated to world no.27 Victoria Azarenka 6-4 6-2 in the quarter in Indian Wells (draw).
This year the American has a 39-19 win-loss record. Jessica Pegula’s best result of this season was reaching the semifinal in Doha and Montreal.
