Alexander Zverev and Emma Raducanu had a fantastic season, with both also winning important recognition on the home soil. Emma has just conquered the coveted Sports Personality of the Year Award while Sascha was crowned as the Sportsman of the year in Germany.
Zverev won 5 tournaments in 2021. The German player also made history after clinching a gold medal in Tokyo and conquering the ATP Finals for the second time in his great career.

Now the world no.3 (career-high), Alexander played his last match on the 21st of November when he overcame world no.2 Daniil Medvedev 6-4 6-4 in the final in the Nitto ATP Finals to win his 19th career title.
Presently, during this year the German achieved an overall 59-15 win-loss record. The German has won 5 titles in 2021 in Acapulco, in Madrid, in Tokyo, in Cincinnati and in Vienna.

Now ranked no.19 (career-high), Raducanu played her last match on the 9th of November when she surrendered to world no.102 Xin Yu Wang 6-1 6-7(0) 7-5 in the 2nd round in Linz (draw).
Until now, during this year the Brit has achieved a compiled 25-9 record. The Brit conquered 1 title at the U.S. Open. Emma was the finalist in Chicago.
