Emma Raducanu confirmed that she will play the Mubadala World Tennis Championship, a prestigious exhibition in Abu Dhabi. The event will take place in the middle of December (16-18), and the other players still need to be announced.
Emma commented:
“I’ve never been to Abu Dhabi and can’t wait to go and play in the championship. I know the UAE is celebrating its 50th anniversary at the beginning of December, so I’m sure it’s going to be amazing there and I’m excited to experience everything the country has to offer both at the event and culturally.”
The Mubadala World Tennis Championship will also be important for Emma’s preparation. Even if the British sensation has won the recent title at the US Open, she is relatively inexperienced in facing top players. She is scheduled to play 3 tournaments before the end of the season to try to have more matches under her belt.

At the moment, during this season the Brit owns an overall 23-7 win-loss record. Raducanu has won 1 title at the U.S. Open. Emma reached the final in Chicago.
