Cibulkova trounces Halep to reach the semifinals in Melbourne

Dominika Cibulkova is having a great run in Melbourne!

The world no.24 has defeated Maria Sharapova in the 4th round and now she has conceded only 3 games to world no11 Simona Halep.

The match against the Romanian lasted only 7 games. In fact, after being broken in the 6th game of the first set Dominika was still leading 4-3 and that was game over as the Slovakian then won 6 consecutive games to wrap up the match in 60 minutes.
