It seems that David Ferrer is getting closer to Rafael Nadal.
OK, Rafa still leads David 21-5 in head to head matches, but David has recently beaten Rafa in the semifinal in Paris and now he defeats the world no.1 once again in straight sets.
Ferrer managed to get the decisive break in the 10th game of each set to comment “It was a good match and I hope the people enjoyed it. I had the edge because I had a match yesterday to get warmed up.”
David will play either Djokovic or Tsonga in the final “They are top 10 players so it’s going to be difficult. Novak is an incredible player, while Jo-Wilfried has a great serve.”
