Matteo Berrettini and Ajla Tomljanovic have been dating for roughly 2 years, and their relationship is getting more and more solid. Matteo and Ajla have been planned for long to play mixed doubles together, but that never happened.
During a recent interview in Wimbledon, they revealed that they were very close to play mixed doubles in the Championships. However, the rain created some problems, and therefore, they decided to skip it.
“Well, because we have been planning to play for the longest time and we always find the reason why not. But this time, the rain screwed us up because we have to play back-to-back. For me, it’s not a big problem even though I have to play women’s doubles and then for him, I mean he is playing best of five,” said Tomljanovic.
