Novak Djokovic is more and more a hero in his beloved Serbia. The world number 1 won an amazing title at the French Open after 2 incredibly successful weeks. Novak conquered his second Roland Garros after winning 2 matches coming back from a 2-sets-down deficit and following a historic win over Rafael Nadal in the semi-final.
Novak is now “only” one slam away from the record owned by Roger Federer and Rafael Nadal that have 20 majors under their belt.
After the French Open, Djokovic went back to Belgrade where he was received as a proper hero. Novak had a great reception with a fantastic party alongside some fireworks.
Djokovic will rest in the following days before getting ready to win Wimbledon. He will not play any tournament in the meantime.

Currently, the world no.1, Novak played his last match on the 13th of June when he defeated world no.4 Stefanos Tsitsipas 6-7(6) 2-6 6-3 6-2 6-4 in the final of the French Open to win his 84th career title.
At the moment, during this season the Serbian achieved a composed 27-3 record. The Serbian clinched 3 titles in 2021 at the Australian Open, in Belgrade and at the French Open. Djokovic got to the final in Rome.

Currently the world no.4 (career-high), the Greek played his last match on the 13th of June when he lost to world no.1 Novak Djokovic 6-7(6) 2-6 6-3 6-2 6-4 in the final of the French Open (draw).
At present, during this year Stefanos has managed to achieve a 39-9 match record. Stefanos conquered 2 titles in 2021 in Monte-Carlo and in Lyon. Tsitsipas was the runner-up in Acapulco, in Barcelona and at the French Open.
Novak Djokovic and Stefanos Tsitsipas clashed against each other 8 times. Their current record is 6-2 for Djokovic. The last time they locked horns, Novak Djokovic won 6-7(6) 2-6 6-3 6-2 6-4 in the final in Paris (French Open) on the 13th of June 2021.
