Rafael Nadal is the uncontested King of Clay that has won 13 titles at the Roland Garros, achieving a record that many think will never be broken.
On Thursday, the Spanish legend was honored with a 3-meters tall statue made of steel of him performing a backhand.
Nadal attended the ceremony alongside French Tennis Federation President Gilles Moretton, Tournament Director Guy Forget and the sculptor Jordi Diez Fernandez.

Currently the world no.3, Rafael played his last match on the 16th of May when he defeated world no.1 Novak Djokovic 7-5 1-6 6-3 in the final in Rome to win his 88th career title.
