Murray qualifies for the ATP World Tour Finals

Andy Murray didn’t have a good US Open, actually the all North American swing was quite lousy for the Scott that has lost in the 3rd round in Montreal to Gulbis), in the quarters in  Cincinnati (to Berdych) and in the quarters again in the US Open (to Wawrinka).

Andy is also a bit close to lose the 3rd place in the rankings as Ferrer is now only 210 points for him… but… the good news is that Murray has already qualified to the ATP World Tour Finals after Nadal and Djokovic.

Murray

“I’ve played some of my best tennis in front of my home crowd at Queen’s and Wimbledon this year so hopefully I can keep up that run of form at The O2 in November.

It will be great to compete in London again for the first time since winning Wimbledon. It’s a key focus for me for the rest of the season and I’ll do everything I can to give myself the best chances of winning it. The atmosphere there is always special – to win it would be the perfect way to finish the season.”

Last year Andy suffered from a surprising loss in the semifinal in London against Roger Federer. Match Stats. This year he will try to go for more.
