Serena Williams is preparing her clay-court season in the south of France with her coach Patrick Mouratoglou. Serena Williams is still chasing her elusive 24th slam. After her pregnancy, she reached 4 slam finals, but she lost all of them in straight sets. Serena will try again at the upcoming French Open that she has already won on three occasions in 2002, 2013, 2015.Â
Last year in Paris, Serena had to withdraw before playing the second round against that Tsvetana Pironkova because she was struggling with an injury to her Achilles.
Patrick Mouratoglou just posted a video about Serena Williams’s first training at his Academy. The American sensation seems to be as serious as ever to win her 24th slam.
Serena will kick-start her clay-court season in Rome. The tournament will commence on the 10th of May.
