Amanda Anisimova is getting ready to commence her clay-court season in Europe. The 19-year-old is finding herself comfortable when playing on clay even if that is not the surface she used to play the most. In 2019 she won her maiden title on the dirt in Bogota’ and she reached the semifinal at the French Open.

At the moment ranked no.38, the American played her last match on the 7th of April when she lost to world no.45 Shelby Rogers 1-6 7-5 6-4 in the 2nd round in Charleston (draw).
During this season Amanda has achieved a compiled 4-3 record.
