BARCELONA. Musetti, Alcaraz Garfia, Munar Clar receive WCs to challenge Nadal

Lorenzo Musetti, Carlos Alcaraz Garfia, and Jaume Antoni Munar Clar will start their campaign in Barcelona from the main draw after receiving a wild card

Lorenzo Musetti, Carlos Alcaraz Garfia, and Jaume Antoni Munar Clar received the great news that they gained a wild card for the main draw in Barcelona.

In Catalunya, Rafael Nadal will be the supreme favorite to win the tournament for the 12th time (see Nadal’s record). However, the defending champion is Dominic Thiem that defeated the King of Clay 6-4 6-4 in the semi-final back in 2019. The tournament was not played in 2020 because of the global pandemic.
