The Fantastic Triumvirate (Nadal, Djokovic and Fededer) is currently dominating the 2011 tennis season.
Unfortunately the Montecarlo Open will not be blessed by the Serb’s presence (due to an injury) but there is still a sense that the ‘other two’ living legends are going to crash their competition to get to another epic final.
Montecarlo has always being a 300% Nadal’s territory who manage to won the last 6th editions (wow!). But Federer wants to stop this record.
It seems it would be a 2 men show.
The beginning was ominous. Nadal crashed Nieminem 6-2 6-2 in 69 minutes and Federer defeated Kohlschreiber 6-2 6-1 in 50 minutes.
