Cori Gauff had a rather bad Friday in Charleston. The American sensation lost to Ons Jabeur in singles while she also got injured. Later Coco was meant to play doubles with her dear friend Caty McNally, but she had to concede a walkover since she was not fit to play.
Coco is meant to play also the WTA 250 event that will be staged next week in Charleston before heading to Stuttgart, where she will play the qualifications to access the main draw. It has to be seen if Coco Gauff will be fit to play or she needs some rest.
The doubles team of 🇺🇸Gauff/McNally has withdrawn from their quarterfinal match due to an injury Gauff sustained in her singles match earlier today.
