Jannik Sinner had and fantastic run at the Miami Open, where he was only stopped by his dear friend Hubert Hurkacz in the final. After his performance, Jannik will be ranked number 22 in the world from Monday and he seems to be poised to break in the top 20 pretty soon.
The Miami Open director James Blake is a former world number 4 and he knows a lot about tennis and new talents. James congratulated Jannik on Twitter with the following message:
“I know it didn’t turn out the way he hoped today, but it’s not gonna be long till Jannik Sinner is collecting masters winners trophies regularly. That talent and poise is going to be fun to watch develop.”
Jannik Sinner will now be back in Monte Carlo where we get ready for the local ATP 1000.

At the moment ranked no.31 (career-high), the Italian played his last encounter on the 4th of April when he was defeated by world no.37 Hubert Hurkacz 7-6(4) 6-4 in the final in Miami (draw).
