Djokovic is still unbeaten in 2011 and he got to the semifinals.
The match wasn’t as easy as you would expect. The real difference was in the ability to convert the break points.
The Joker got an early break that allowed him to have a 3-1 lead, but he had tough time to defend this break. Eventually he won the opener 6-4. The break point conversion was 1/2 for the Serb and 0/2 for the South African, that was it.
The second set was smoother but still a bit complicated. Djokovic had two break points and he managed to convert both of them. Anderson had two.. but no conversion.
The match ended 6-4 6-2 after 1 hour and 47 minutes.
Djokovic will play against Fish in the semifinals.
The American is having a really good tournament where he managed to defeated big names such as Del Potro (back in top form!) and Ferrer in straight sets.
It will be an interesting match!
