Stefanos Tsitsipas stressed once again his admiration for Naomi Osaka. Tsitsipas is currently in Rotterdam, where he is about to face Andrey Rublev for a place in the final. The world no.6 was asked to express his opinion about Naomi Osaka’s great Australian Open that culminated with her clinching the 4th slam of her career.

Stefanos said that he is in a great relationship with Naomi that has an extremely charming and inspiring personality.
“I’m very proud of her. We keep in touch, we talk from time to time. She’s a great human being, even greater on the tennis court, has been showing unbelievable tennis,” said Tsitsipas.
“Most of the Slams that’s where she shines. I’m really happy for her, she’s doing great, it’s really nice to see women’s tennis be taken over by such an inspiring, such charming player like her. She has everything. She has the charm, she has the personality, the game, so it’s really good for the game to have players like her.”
On a more personal note, Stefanos was also happy that Naomi was keen on eating Greek food.
“I also like to think that she won the Australian Open due to Souvlaki that she ate the other day. Not the other day, when she was playing the Australian Open. She had Greek food apparently, and I’ll just tell her one thing: I think it was all because of Greek food.,” he added.
