Donna Vekic looked to be in good form during the Australian Open to reach the 4th round before been stopped by Jennifer Brady. However, during her match against the American, the Croatian beauty was struggling with her right knee. Eventually, that injury coupled with Jennifer’s explosive tennis proved to be too much for Donna.
Back on the European continent, Vekic decided to have a small operation in Bern and she broke the news on Instagram, stressing the fact that everything went well and she is looking forward to rehabilitating.
“Hi 🙋🏼‍♀️ a quick update, I had a small surgery on my right knee yesterday and thanks to Dr. Biedert everything went well 🙏🏻 Already started my rehab today and look forward to being back on court soon!
