Djokovic About Injuries

Novak Djokovic has just won an inspiring quarterfinal against Sascha Zverev to play Aslan Karatsev in the semifinal.

The Serbian sensation has been nursing an abdominal injury since playing the 3rd round against Taylor Fritz. Eventually, the world no.1 found his way to reach the semifinal at the Australian Open. However, after winning the quarter against Zverev, he expressed his dissatisfaction with the quarantine regime, which seems to create many physical problems. Many top guns are struggling with all sorts of injuries that, according to the world no.1, are mainly caused by quarantine.

Novak commented:

“I can’t complain but it has a physical impact on players. We are hoping that it’s temporary. But majority of the players don’t want to go ahead of the season if we have to do quarantines all the seasons. I’m waiting for some answers.”

“What we see is not normal. Top players are the best prepared. Sascha, Dimitrov, Berrettini, Rafa… It has to do with the circumstances and the quarantine. For some it was tougher than me.”
