Wimbledon bans Federer from using orange shoes!

Can you ever believe it?

The King of the Centre Court, the utmost admired player at the Championship slipped on a foot foul!!!

Roger has been banned from the Championships from using the shoes with a bright orange sole. According to the organisation this contravenes to the code that says that players have to be dressed in an almost totally white outfit. Apparently that shoes were too much!

So Roger will have to adapt and to use different shoes in his next match against the Ukrainian Sergiy Stakhovsky.

The Rules

It seems that the players have to submit all clothing design for inspections 90 days before the Championship, but shoes were not involved. The organisation decided that Rogers’s soles were… too much!

Rumours say that the Swiss Maestro gets 10 million US dollar to wear Nike outfits… that’s no bad… Common mortals usually pay for it 😉
