Oh my… somebody has to stop him! But who?
Djokovic has a winning streak of 17 matches. His 2011 record is 15-0.
On top of it he lost only 6 games in the first 3 matches at Indian Wells.And he did not play against Micky Mouse or Minnie, but with players such as Gulbis and Troiki (both managed to win only a game with the world nr.3).
If he keeps on playing like this the question would not be if he will manage to become world nr.2, but when he will become world nr.1.
The interesting part was Djokovic’s comment “I don’t think I’m playing incredible tennis. I think I’m playing really, really solid and getting a lot of balls back into the court and making my opponent play an extra shot… I think he had a very bad match in general. But I was very solid, and I keep on playing well so this is what makes me happy.â€
So he thinks he is only playing a very solid tennis… well.. if he is happy!!!
Next round (QFs) he will play against Gasquet that managed to defeat Roddick 6-3 7-6 (3). Good Luck!
