Nadal closer to win his 7th straight title in Montecarlo

Nadal won another battle against world nr.4 Andy Murray in the Montecarlo Semi-finals
The Scot was back to top form after he struggled  with his tennis during the last few months.
During the first 2 sets the two players produced incredible shots to bring the match to the decider.
At that point Nadal had a head start to grab a 4-0 lead thanks also to Murray’s problems to his elbow. Then the Scot broke for 4-1, but the game was alrady in the hands of the Spaniard that broke him back to finally win the third set 6-1
I didn’t know I’d be able to play until five to three,’ said Murray ‘I had a cortisone injection and local anaesthetic. I’ve never had a problem with my elbow before. I’m happy I gave it my best but I think I can do better.’
Nadal will face in the final his fellow countryman David Ferrer that defeated Jurgen Melzer 6-3 6-2.
