Berdych wins the Beijing title

Thomas Berdych finally managed to win his first ATP title in 29 months after his victorious campaign in Munich in 2009.
The 3rd seeds had a remarkable comeback after losing the first set (3-6) against the Croat to win the last 2 sets 6-4 6-1.
‘When I lost my serve and I was two breaks down, I was still positive,’ he said. ‘I think the key moment was a break at 5-4. Marin was serving and I made a set point and won the second set. From that moment I started to feel great; I had more energy for the third set.’ commented the Czech
‘To bring this title really means a lot to me,’ said an elated Berdych. ‘After 29 months, it’s been quite a long time, so I’m happy that I could break this up.’
On the other side Cilic said  ‘I didn’t give up. A few points decided the second set… then the third set went the way it did,.
