Finally after so many days of rain we got to the end.
This will be the second year that Maria Kirilenko gets to the final. Last year she lost to Daniela Hantuchova, this year she will face Sabine Lisicki that is playing much better than her ranking (world no.52).
It took only 67 minutes for Maria to destroy her friend Sorana Cirstea. This was a sort of re-match as Kirilenko and Crirstea played also last year in Pattaya semifinal. Maria won as well, but the match was much more tight (6-2 5-7 6-4)
Kirilenko and Lisiki will play on Sunday. Head to Head is 2-0 for Kirilenko, but their last match was in 2008… Many things changed since then, but Maria is still the hot favorite.
