Rafael Nadal and Jannik Sinner have shared the practice court for 14 days in Adelaide during the quarantine. Upcoming Italian was thrilled for the opportunity of training for so long with Rafa and, apparently, that was a huge success.
After the end of the quarantine, Jannik sent a lovely message to Rafa and his team over Instagram, thanking them for the opportunity. Rafa didn’t fail to reply also thanking Jannik for the time spent together.
Rafa wrote: “It was great having you and your team sharing this experience together.
Thanks to you, Riccardo and Claudio for everything. And best of luck for the upcoming weeks Jan! You are a great guy and a great player. Grazie!!!!”
After Adelaide, Rafa and Jannik will head to Melbourne where Nadal will play the ATP Cup while Sinner will play an ATP250 event.

Jannik Sinner in 2021
Now ranked no.36 (career-high), Jannik played his last match on the 29th of January when he lost to Filip Krajinovic 6-3 in the 1st round in Adelaide (draw).
At the moment, during this season Jannik has a 0-0 match record.
Rafael Nadal and Jannik Sinner clashed against each other just once. The head to head is 1-0 for Nadal. When they played, Rafael Nadal won 7-6(4) 6-4 6-1 in the quarter in Paris (French Open) in October 2020.
