Unbeatable Djokovic triumphs in Dubai

Super Nole is still unbeatable in 2013 to win his 26th title, the 4th in Dubai.

In the Dubai final the Serb showed once again his incredible self confidence to stay calm in every moment of the match and always find the solution in tricky circumstances.

Nole was 1 break down in the first set when Tomas broke him in the 5th game with a wonderful passing shot (hot shot, video above). No problem for Novak that broke Berdych in the 8th game and in the 12th to win the first set 7-5.

The second set was less of a roller coaster with Novak breaking Berdych in the 8th game to finally win the match 7-5 6-3 in 1 hour and 34 minutes.

From Nole

“My serving today was great, I had a very high percentage of first serves, over 200,” said Djokovic.

“I really felt that I could rely on my serve. And in tough moments, that part of my game actually helped me to prevail. To be honest, I haven’t played as aggressive and maybe as good as I have played in yesterday’s match  or previous matches during this week. But that’s also because I had toughest challenge.  “

From Tomas

Berdych said, “I was able to play the rallies with him quite well, especially from the baseline, and trying to hold him under the pressure. The beginning was really good, but this is just really a small step that was working for few games. Saying that I lost the match because I didn’t volley that well wouldn’t be fair. I mean there was two or three points, but, no, I wouldn’t see that as the deciding moment or deciding points.”
