Once again Maria had to battle through. The Russian beauty failed to win the match when she was serving in the 3rd set when she was 5-3 up to then win the decider 7-5.
“I came through in the end, I did my job,” Sharapova commented. “I am pleased how I fought in the third.”
“I like it quick and easier but the great thing is I got through them,” she added.

Maria will play the final against Li Na that downed MAttek-Sands 6-4 6-3. head to head is 8-3 for Sharapova.
