Nole and Andy will play for the Wimbledon final. It’s time for Andy to get it!
This has been a very interesting Wimbledon. Maybe we had too many upsets and losing Rafa and Roger in the first two rounds wasn’t really good for the Championship. That at least opened a huge opportunity for some players like Janowicz that had the chance to get to a big stage.
The funny stuff is that at the end of the day, after all this mess (ie upsets) the first two seeds will play for the title (something quite ordinary).
The final
Nole got to the final not playing at his very best especially in the semifinal when he beated a not 100% fit (but rather good) Del Potro in 5 sets. Andy had a tough ride against a marvellous Verdasco (a very tough set) and a really tricky four setter against Janowicz.
The final will be definitely a close encounter, but taking in consideration about all the circumstances (Andy’s mental improvements and the help of the crowd), Murray might have a little edge in this final. Murray also knows he can beat Nole in a major final as he did it last year at the US Open… so we go for him… and in London they can have a local hero after 77 years when Fred Perry wo the Championship.
But can you ever write off Djokovic?
