Stefanos Tsitsipas didn’t have a fantastic 2020, but he will be more than ready to bounce back in the upcoming year. While the Greek sensation managed to have a deep run at the French Open (semifinal), he won just 1 event in 2020. That was the ATP250 in Marseille back in February. The world no.6 was clearly hampered by a leg injury after the US Open that prevented him from shining in the last months of this season.

The ATP Calendar in 2021

According to many sources, the ATP is about to officialize the new calendar for the first quarter of 2021. While there are a couple of notable casualties like Indian Wells and Rio de Janeiro, since February the schedule looked quite packed.

The leg injury

Stefanos has just ended a period of rehabilitation to fully recover from his leg injury. The Greek ace spent some time in Londo where he underwent the so-called Tecar theraphy.

Currently ranked no.6, Tsitsipas played his last match on the 19th of November when he was overcome by Rafael Nadal 6-4 4-6 6-2 in the round robin in the Nitto ATP Finals (draw).
