Rafa to be on full throttle for the US swing
There have been some allegations that the King of Clay would have not played either in Montreal or in Cincinnati.
Recently, the Spanish press (Marca) has reported that Rafa was not particularly keen on playing in Cincinnati as it was in the middle of nowhere. Of course, that sounded “strange” as nowadays you take the airplanes, and Cincinnati is not exactly in the middle of the Pacific Ocean… and you do not miss such an important tournament because of this!!!!
By the way, also in order to not create any other mess (and to help the Cincinnati organization) Rafa confirmed that he will play both tournaments.

“I’m approaching this part of the season in exactly the same way. Of course, what happened in the four months I’ve been able to compete this year was fantastic, but there’s still lots more to come and you have to be well prepared.” said Rafa
The world no.4 should head this coming Friday to Canada where he is supposed to play the 7th of August.
And the quest for the world no.1 rank is still open… very open…
