Murray reaches the Australian Open final!

Andy Murray has another chance to win his first slam.
On the paper he was the favorite in the semi final agaist the nr.7 seed David Ferrer, but the Spaniard was in marvellous form (maybe the best of his carrier).
So it was quite hard to predict a winner.
The opening set was a sort of ping pong where the two players looked like to bouncing walls.
The Spaniard looked quite inspired and he managed to win it 6-4. Was this another upset? Not at all!
Murray understood that he had to be more aggressive if he wanted to get to the final.
The second set was stil quite even, but it was clear that Murray could capitalise on his bigger experience of playing important matches. Ferrer was always there trying not to give ground to the Scot, but the experience came on the tie break where the Scot managed to reach in no time a 6-0 score. Few points later he won it by 7-2.
Then Ferrer melted down and Murray won the 3rd 6-1. The 4th set went also to the tie break. But again the most solid player won it (at 7-2) and Murray reaches the final.
On Sunday the Scot will play against Djokovic that is displaying a very good tennis.
Last year Murrau lost in the final against Roger Federer. In the interview soon after the match he admited that: ”The first final, I didn’t know what was going on, it happened so quick,” he said. ”Last year was better. Hopefully this year it will be better again.”
Last year, after the match Federer said that he was sure that it was just a matter of time that Murray would win his first slam. Maybe he was right, but Djokovic would be very happy to pospone that moment.. at least for this week.
