Super Haas trashes Simon to play Ferrer in Miami Semifinal

Another great match from the 34 years-old.

Beating Djokovic was not enough for Tommy that he definitely wants more. So, now it was time for Gilles Simon that was able to win just 4 games against the world no.18.

The match ended after 1 hour and 4 minutes with Haas breaking Simon 4 times without dropping a service game.

From Tommy

“The first break in the match at 4-3 was the key. That was a long game,” said the German.

“I played some good points when it came down to it, which I am proud of, and then served out the first set. I felt pretty comfortable after that. I used my chances right away in the second set and took that momentum. Again, I played the way I wanted to, using my all-around game and variety. I think I did that pretty well tonight.”

Next vs. Ferrer

Tommy will play Ferrer in the semis. Head to head is 2-0 for the Spaniard.
