Stefanos Tsitsipas had yet another fantastic match at the French Open as he defeated Andrey Rublev in the quarters to finally access the Roland Garros semifinal. The Greek sensation played a fantastic match, and he was great in containing Rublev in the first set after he broke Stefanos.
However, the world no.6 kept his cool to get back the break when Andrey was trying to serve out the set. That was practically game over as Tsitsipas remained in firm control of the match before winning in straight sets.
Tsitsipas’ father Apostolos, and coach Mouratoglou
Stefanos had the luxury again of having in his box his father Apostolos and Serena Williams’ coach Patrick Mouratoglou. Patrick has been following the young Greek since the beginning of his career and Stefanos is used to training in Patrick’s academy in the south of France. With Serena Williams out of the French Open, it seems like Patrick is focussing his attention on Stefanos. Apostolos remains Tsitsipas’s main coach, but it seems obvious that the Frenchman may enter a more stable capacity in Tsitsipas’ team when Serena is done with tennis.
Where is Stefanos Tsitsipas’ girlfriend Theodora?
Stefanos has been dating for slightly less than 1 year his lovely girlfriend Theodora Petalas. Even if the world no.6 loves to keep this relationship as discreet as possible, it wasn’t impossible not to notice his girlfriend watching Stefanos playing in New York. Theodora wasn’t sitting by Stefanos’ father during the matches so as not to attract attention.
This time in Paris, while Stefanos was having the full support of his mother, father, and coach at the Arthur Ashe Stadium, Theodora wasn’t seen cheering for his boyfriend. Or was she hidden somewhere else?
The relationship between Stefanos and Theodora became public during their recent vacation in Mykonos. during this summer. The couple ended up also on the local OK Magazine.
