Stefanos Tsitsipas is currently playing the French Open where after a tentative performance in the 1st round, he impressed in the following match against an always-dangerous Pablo Cuevas.
Stefanos’ father Apostolos is back in his son’s player’s box after his absence in Rome. The Greek sensation lost his cool with his father during his US Open loss, and that was probably the reason for Apostolos’ absence in Italy. However, things seem to be cool now between Stefanos and his dad and it was impossible not to notice the mask worn by Apostolos with a cool picture of his son.
About the mask and where to buy them
During the press conference that followed Stefanos’ win over Cuevas, Tsitsipas was asked about that mask. He answered that he liked the work of the artist, Cat Lee, that has an Instagram account used to showcase her work
“I’ll try and get in touch with her because I really like her idea and her masks. I bought 30 of them, and I handed out to the team. So now we are more organized.”
Stefanos admitted that he heard from his friends about these masks to comment:
“My friend goes, ‘Look, I saw these masks online of yours. Do you know anything about them?’.
I’m like, ‘No, but they would look really cool and I would like to have some of them.’ So I bought like 30 straightaway, different masks.”
