Naomi Osaka had a rather rough ride during this Coronavirus pandemic. Like many people on the planet, the Japanese sensation had to endure the lockdown and in addition, she was extremely upset about what has happened to George Floyd. Osaka was very active to defend the #blacklivesmatter movement to go and protest on the streets in Minneapolis and Los Angeles. Naomi was so emotional to also engage in some spats with social media users.
During a recent interview with Washington Wizards, Naomi talked about what she has learned during the Coronavirus.
“I had definitely to adjust my lifestyle a little bit for a while. could even go out and play tennis. Thankfully I can now. I took for granted things that I could do before. Now I am more grateful. Even going to the tennis courts and seeing that they are open, it is something I am happy about.”
Later, the world no.10 expressed her happiness for the NBA season to resume hoping that everyone will stay safe.
