Stefanos Tsitsipas has always stated that he wants to win a slam. However, it’s not clear when he has the chance to play one. Therefore, carpe diem seems to be the only solution right now.

The Greek ace has revealed that he is more than ready to go and play the upcoming US Open. However, it’s not really clear if the US major is going to take place. Therefore, even if Stefanos has in theory planned to compete during the American summer is not even sure he will go in there and play.

During a recent interview, the world no.6 commented:

“My goals so far, they are unclear. We don’t really know what’s going to happen in the next few months. For sure my goal that I’ve always had in mind is to win a Grand Slam. But I don’t want to apply or put too much pressure to myself.”

Stefanos is currently competing in the Ultimate Tennis Showdown in the south of France. The Greek is also leading the league playing rather great tennis. He confirmed that at this moment he just wants to enjoy playing tennis and try new things.

“It is important for me to enjoy every single moment. I love the game and I love it, even more, when I get to be out there like enjoy the way I am enjoying right now. It’s amazing,”  he added.
