Another nice act from the upcoming tennis star.
Victoria Azarenka took a controversial time out in the semifinal in Melbourne for something that… well.. it wasn’t that clear (see article). The entire tennis community had the impression that the time out wasn’t really related to any particular injury but it was aimed at stopping Sloane’s momentum as the American was about to tie with Azarenka after saving 5 match points.

“It was just something else but it didn’t affect anything, I don’t think,” she said. “Like if it was one of my friends, I would say, ‘Oh, my God, that sounds like a PP’, which is a personal problem. Other than that, it’s just unfortunate.”
Same agent and friends
“I love Vika and we share the same agent,” Sloane added. “We actually are pretty good friends. I’m sure I’ll see her and we’ll talk about it.”
Sloane’s attitude will definitely be very refreshing especially for ladies tennis where there is “sometimes” too much tension.
