Novak Djokovic has expressed his doubts about staging the Us Open with the proposed measures. In detail, the Serbian was skeptical about the possibility of having only 1 person with the players as a team and being “trapped” in the designated hotel.
As reported by Aargauer Zeitung, the Swiss is still uncertain about her participation in New York and she mourns specifically about the restriction of the movements.
“I’m still considering what I think about the US Open. For the less well-ranked players who have not earned anything for a long time, it is very good to be able to compete again.
You can’t lie around the hotel for 18 hours and then get a top performance on the pitch. It is important to be able to lift your head.”
