Novak Djokovic, Roger Federer, and Rafael Nadal are battling hard for the last 15 years for the most prestigious trophies. The endurance of the big3 is astonishing, and Djokovic was fantastic in challenging the duopoly that the Swiss and the Spaniard established.
While at the beginning of his career, Novak had some attrition with Federer, the world no.1 has never declined to reaffirm his admiration for Roger.
Talking with the Tennis Channel, Novak stressed again his admiration for his 2 main rivals.
“What Roger and Rafa are doing is epic. Both of these guys are legends. They do inspire me and I have said this millions of times and I will say it again. They made me the player I am today. They still continue to inspire me and motivate me to be even better.
I think these rivalries that we have are a great promotion for our sport. They are really good for tennis in general and also for the upcoming generations,” he commented.
