Stefanos talks about his plan for the final

Stefanos Tsitsipas

Stefanos Tsitsipas is going to face Novak Djokovic for the 5th time in his career in the final in Dubai. Even if the world no.1 is expected to win the match, the Greek sensation can definitely go against the odds. The world no.6 is playing fantastic tennis and he keeps on adding new weapons to his arsenal to win matches after matches without much struggle. He also proved to be healthily calm during crunch time when he was facing an in-form Jan-Lennard struff in the quarters and he managed to snatch the decisive break in the 3rd set like a confident champion.

Tsitsipas will face a formidable Novak Djokovic that has proved once again that he can recover from all sorts of situations with his huge mental strength. The Serbian sensation solved Monfils’ puzzle in the semifinal after saving 3 consecutive match points in the second set tiebreak before winning in 3 sets.

How Tsitsipas can beat Djokovic

Stefanos has proved that he has the antidote against Novak as he has beaten him already on 2 occasions. When asked about what he is going to do to defeat the world no.1 once again, Stefanos replied:

“He’s in really good form and shape. He’s been playing great tennis. Everybody has seen what he did at the Australian Open. For sure, I’m going to have to bring the best out of my game and reduce my mistakes and in general reduce everything, stay aggressive like today I would say It’s going to take something extra for me to beat him tomorrow. I’m going to try and seek that.”
