Ana Ivanovic says the life of a tennis players can be very stressful

Life is tough also for super strong, super hot tennis stars like Ana Ivanovic.

The former world no.1 and 2008 French Open champion has been having lots of ups and downs in her career. Currently ranked as world no.13 Ana is now achieving less than she “deserves” (talking about her potential). This year she had a low point when she was double bagelled by Roberta Vinci in Montreal, the first 6-0 6-0 in her illustrious career.

Stress? well maybe the extra stress comes from the fact that besides being a very strong player, she has also a lovely attitude and she is really good looking. The result? Everybody wants to see Ana.

So Ivanovic has lots of off court obligations and she has to manage them with a healthy “tennis life” to keep on performing.

In a recent interview she said

Obligations

“It is intense and there are many obligations away from the court. Sometimes it can be stressful, but it’s important to manage your schedule well.

Family and team support

I am fortunate to receive great support from my team, including my family. They help me to stay grounded, and my management does a good job of helping me manage my time.

De-stress

It’s also important to take a few days off to de-stress once in a while, and actually that’s why I went to Milan before the Fed Cup, to relax and enjoy some time with family and friends.”

An advice to Ana… go and have a clinic with Roger about managing busy schedules. He might be world no.2, but in that nobody beats him!

ps… Ana we are waiting for you break into the top 10 any soon… good luck!
